starting with my lecturer asking me to go out to eat because 2 of my friends are from the same country, namely Indonesia, my lecturer tries to always try his best and tells me that he has also participated in a student exchange.
At the same time, I was sad because I couldn't take part in the celebration of my older brother who finished his studies and became a graduate. There were feelings of joy and sadness on the same day, but I was grateful because I was able to get something new.
in the evening I was invited by the teachers to take part in the grand opening of one of the teachers opening a job in the food sector, finally I was able to forget the anxiety I felt.
Arriving the next morning at 2 o'clock I was getting ready to go on holiday to the next country, namely Malaysia, there weren't many moments that I could take from photos but I got a lot of new things from managing my ego because of a new place, together with the boarding house father heading to that country.
I arrived there at exactly eleven o'clock, I was at the border between Thailand and Malaysia, and didn't forget to take a few photos because this was the most impressive experience in my life, after that I went straight to Penang Island. Arriving at Penang Island, don't forget to go around the local area because you want to know what is different in each country. It turns out there isn't much difference, namely in terms of individual character, but in my personal opinion, many people are more frontal when it comes to joking, especially dating, maybe because every State laws differ. and we rested after touring the city.
The next day my boarding house father and I attended a company celebration around the island and wore barong sai clothes, maybe that was something important for them. Luckily I got new clothes and it was an honor to get clothes that were unique and had a dragon logo on them. After leaving that place, we immediately went to a place where there were lots of Chinese people or you could say it was a temple.
When I was at the temple, I found lots of artifacts and statues along with magnificent carvings and prices were even included, perhaps in memory of the donors and the many people who prayed. I was surprised because it was the first time I had seen a temple as magnificent as this.
After finishing there we immediately returned to Thailand because tomorrow there will be lots of activities to do, such as teaching which I love to look forward to, chatting with the teacher, and telling stories to the students I love, and here I get a very different taste of food in each countries, like in Malaysia the dominant taste of food is salty and savory, in Thailand it is sour and fresh, in my country the taste is very spicy and sweet, there are lots of foods that I have tried and I want to continue exploring new foods, especially on the Asian continent.
in the last week I tried my best to give all my experience in teaching and even participated in making works of art from drawing, including colors, color combinations, to promotions to teachers (how to offer a holiday in English), giving my own time to students to explore English so that they can become skilled at mastering English in all conditions and provide mental motivation so that they don't easily panic when facing problems in English. As a teacher, especially in the field of elementary school teachers, I have the principle "if you don't start from the beginning (basic level) ) then it will be difficult to guide, because nowadays students can explore as widely as possible in terms of facilities and environment." The last week was difficult for me because I had to say goodbye to them, and had to be able to accept that people come and go according to their respective journeys in life.
During the month I was on student exchange I was very, very happy. I have learned many things from being able to improve my English, I try to understand their wishes, describe my wishes, carry out procedures according to my passion, especially in the field of elementary school teachers, establish good relationships with students, establish good relationships even close to all the teachers I met, so that I knew what the family I had felt all this time was.
That's all my blog, I am very grateful and thankful for being able to take part in student exchange, what I can conclude from the moment I came until I left is that whatever you get, no matter how small, I have to accept it and be grateful for it, even big things that might be difficult. to be accepted.
Thank you
