First Week Student Exchange In Thailand

September 08, 2023 Friday. On the first day I went straight to Wat Ban Song Elementary School at 8 am, always carrying out the ceremony in the morning

and at 8:30 in the morning I made observations in class 3/1 which had science as the subject, the students were very happy because they could experiment and were enthusiastic about answering what the teacher asked.

at 11:30 in the morning, it's time for students and teachers to eat lunch in the canteen. Before going to the canteen, each class is prepared so that not a single student is left behind in class.

Lunch time has finished and each student can play to their heart's content until the bell rings

This is one of the excerpts from class 3/2 students who were given instructions to be able to present at the end of the ceremony because at this school it is very unique that after the ceremony is finished there will be an event where the students present what they have been taught.

After school at 17:00 we always give a typical Thai drink, namely Thai Tea, which has a very distinctive sour, sweet taste.

This is Phra Ngoen Park in Nakhon Si Thammarat, which is a religious place that is often visited by native residents of the area.

and on my holiday, I and my friend and mentor visited Nakhon Si Thammarat, more precisely at Phra Mahathat Woramaha Wiharn, which is a religious place where Buddhists often hold traditional events or ceremonies at this place and it is a vacation spot for tourists.

Introducing my mentor Anthony who is in the middle and the one on the right is a Kik teacher

These are my colleagues and mentors starting from the left, namely Kik, Linda, Inna, Anthony, Saya, and Jen

Inna and Linda are students at PGRI University Semarang who took part in student exchange in Thailand too, even though they teach at different places from me, they came one week earlier than me and they are colleagues who really like to cook.

This is one of the inner parts of Phra Mahathat Worahama Wiharn.

To the north of this place there is a place that sells various kinds of accessories and typical Thai food.

This is one of the foods that I think is delicious but there are some foods that taste sour and the overall taste can be accepted by the Asian tongue. This food is based on white vermicelli and the way to eat it is by mixing it with fresh vegetables and curry.

In this place, my friends and I talked about what we would do after we finished this student exchange, some were focused on pursuing their thesis, some wanted to continue to a higher level, and there were also those who wanted to change one's perspective.

and here I am at Si Tham Ma Sok Rat Public Park which is synonymous with gardens and also broken walls.

This is a palace-like building located in Khlang not far from Si Tham Ma Sok Rat Public Park. The advantage here compared to other places is that it provides toilets.

This is a national museum located in Nakhon Si Thammarat. Unfortunately we were not allowed to enter because there was construction going on.

and finally we stopped at a famous mall in the middle of the city and walked around like young people, trying various foods and ice cream that were too sweet and trying to see some cute clothes.
